The annual Kingston Sprints was a great success this year and thanks are due to everyone who helped on the day. The competition ran smoothly thanks to all those who helped – both on poolside by organising and officiating, and those who sold drinks and food, helped in the kitchen, sold raffle tickets, programmes, sweets, swimwear and who ran the tombola. Thanks especially to those who planned and organised this event.
Parents were very generous in their donations of raffle and tombola prizes, and in bringing rolls, sandwiches, cakes, biscuits and home baking on the day.
The cheering was loud, the swimmers performed exceptionally well, and it was great to see the team spirit among all the teams present.
This is the first Kingston Sprints we have held in Larkhall pool and thanks are due also to the pool staff for their assistance on the day, which helped the meet to run so smoothly.
