Kingston Sprints 2011 – Helpers Needed!

Kingston Sprints 2011 – Sunday 13th November (Larkhall)

We need parents to help on the day of the Sprints

Please give to your name to Colette (or leave a message at the club desk). The commitment doesn’t have to be for the full day – morning or afternoon would be fine (we won’t refuse anyone wanting to stay all day!).

If this is the first time your child will swim at the Sprints and you wish to help out, that would be great, and we will also take your name. Helpers always get the opportunity to see their child swim during the competition.

Why do we have the Sprints – This is our major fund raising event of the year and requires a little effort from all of us to make it a success. For our new members, this is an all day event where we invite teams and compete for medals. Hundreds will be there, swimmers, spectators and officials. It is our chance to build up funds in order that we can set the fees for the coming year

What we need you to do – You will be asked to help out with donations (large or small) for Tombola and Raffle prizes ahead of the event and on the day we will need food i.e. filled rolls, sandwiches, cakes and biscuits, home baking, crisps etc. which we sell. We also need people to work with selling programmes, raffle tickets, tombola stall, swimwear stall, cakes, sweets, tea, coffee and drink sales. If you can help, please let us know. This is a great fun day even if you are not competing so please come along and enjoy yourselves and support your club. Watch the club desk for posters and more details.

Thanks once again for everyone’s help.
