WELL WHAT AN END TO THE SEASON!!!!!
Today the Centenary Gala at Kilmarnock in my opinion was a well worth exercise – it has enabled me to see how vast an improvement has been made by the swimmers who took part given the changes to the training structure over the past year. It showed us where we have made and can still make improvements. Well done to all competitors, parents and coaches from all pools – without your help we would not be able achieve this.
44 personal bests and a haul of 1st, 2nd, 3rd and relay medals were also achieved.
Overall for the year I think we have made steady progress with new members who have decided to join our club. They have been welcomed in with open arms by the team and hopefully will play a larger part in our team development.
Once again a big “Thank you!” to all involved, whether you coach/teach or swim it really would be impossible without you.
I would also like to take this opportunity to thank Mike. He has made my life so much easier with the paperwork he does for me – my computer skills have vastly improved due to his perseverance, with a dinosaur like me I think I may also be a work in progress just like our team.
KEEP UP THE HARD WORK FOR NEXT SEASON!!!!!
