Saturday 5th March
Our Mini League home leg on Saturday 5th March was well run and appeared to be enjoyed by all!
Once again Team Spirit was the winner on the day for the Kingston team!
From an official’s point of view, I was delighted with all the support on poolside from time-keepers, recorders, chief time-keeper and referee. It makes our job so much easier, and helps the meet to run much more smoothly, when parents volunteer to assist on poolside. Thanks to the parents who completed the Time-Keeping course last month for doing so! This benefits the club, but particularly benefits the swimmers.
Thanks are also due to the participating clubs – North Ayrshire, Dunoon and Rutherglen – for bringing so many parents to volunteer on poolside. Hopefully in our next two ‘away’ matches we’ll be able to reciprocate!
And many thanks to all our parents for their generous donations for hospitality after the event.
