Kingston Sprints 2010

The Kingston Sprints held on the 7th November this year was a great success and enjoyed by all. It ran smoothly, thanks to the preparation beforehand, and the numbers of coaches, technical officials and parents who helped on the day (on poolside, on the various stalls, and in the kitchen preparing lunch).

Thanks to all the clubs who attended for their support – Kilmarnock, Rutherglen, Milngavie and Bearsden, Airdrie and Monklands, Kirkintilloch and Kilsyth, Oban, Clydebank and Helensburgh.

Martin (in his fancy shorts) ran his famous tombola and it was very successful as usual! Thanks to all the parents who donated very generous tombola and raffle prizes. Also to those who brought rolls, sandwiches, cakes, biscuits and home baking to sell on the day.

It was great to see the swimmers cheering so enthusiastically for their team mates and enjoying themselves.
